Butter Notes Cafe's Upcoming Shows

Join us for an evening with the Steven Paul and Friends Quartet featuring modern jazz, improvisation, and groove from some of the Pacific Northwest’s most versatile musicians. Led by saxophonist Steven Paul, the quartet brings together Eli Bennett on piano, Trevor Pelletier on bass, and Jeb Mack on drums for a night of dynamic and expressive live music.

Society Red is a band showcasing the original works of Dexter Gordon. It was conceived in 2025 by long-time friends Gavin Calkins and Jeremy Shaskus, who met in Roosevelt High Schools infamous jazz band in 2005/2006. Comprised of musicians with a diverse background, Society Red aims to bring attention and life to some of Dexter Gordon’s lesser known compositions.
